Patrick's Irish Pub
Since it's located in the vicinity of the City Hotel and just a few steps from the main square, Patrick's Irish Pub is a smart choice when exploring the city. Klub K4 is a 20 year old organization with a strong tradition of promoting alternative culture and subcultures in Slovenia and abroad. K4 offers a diverse program of contemporary music genres like House, Techno, Drum 'n' Bass, Breakbeat, Dubstep, Funk, Nu Rave, Electro, Hip Hop, Rock and a wide variety of combinations in between. K4 is open from Tuesday til Saturday.

Zlati zob
Zlati zob is a club featuring regular ethnic based cultural events. Mainly traditional
world folk music is performed, though dances, exhibitions, culinary demonstrations, workshops, lectures and other events are organized as well. Traditional food is also served. The interior brings you in to a different world, one which is in the process of being forgotten, although certainly not at Zlati zob as when events are on. Booking a table is highly recommended due to its popularity. Zlati zob is located in an old 18 century mansion, a 20 minute walk from the centre of town. If you take a bus (No. 5, 5N, 9, 11, 11B, 11N, 20Z, 25) you will need an Urbana card. A bus station is adjacent to the club. Let loose and enjoy!

Klub 300
Klub 300 is more than a bowling alley. It is also a place for billiards fans, party animals and those, who cherish good food. There is a restaurant that offers healthy, traditional Slovenian food incorporated into a contemporary context, served by professional a la carte waiters. The club is suitable for all generations on any day of the week. Since it is located by the ringroad, it is easy to reach by car and has a large car park so parking is therefore guaranteed. If you prefer to be eco-friendly, take city bus number seven as it brings you right to the club's garden.

Scratch Rock Bar
Scratch rock bar is the only true rock bar in the centre of Ljubljana. It offers a large range of events such as previews of new albums, live concerts, theme events, and card games. Once a week they have a day dedicated to a famous rock star or band. Around the bar hang pictures of rock stars, newspapers and the lyrics for famous songs, a very cozy atmosphere. The bar has its own small magazine where you can see their future events, menu, news, articles from old newspapers etc. Scratch offers more than 30 different beers from all over the world and always plays rock, prog, AOR, hard rock and metal. Is a popular bar with tourists situated downstairs in the street just off the river side, also with a terrace on the river side. The best thing is that you get every cocktail at two for the price of one. We challenge you to find the toilet  ;).

Metelkova town
Previously a prison, the area has been squatted and the town of Metelkova has it's own authentic atmosphere and maybe its own rules too. It is situated in the area adjacent to popular hostel Celica.
