Conestoga Culture Bar
Conestoga culture bar is a newly opened venue in the centre of Ljubljana, bringing a bit of novelty to the city. Free bike hire, free table football, free board games, live music (from dj’s to bands) and exhibitions are all here. During happy hours – from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. – a large draft beer costs only 1.5€! You can also enjoy fresh snacks and a multicultural atmosphere.
Patrick's Irish Pub
Since it's located in the vicinity of the City Hotel and just a few steps from the main square, Patrick's Irish Pub is a smart choice when exploring the city. A staircase takes you underground to a pleasant homely interior of wooden chairs and tables, Irish symbols and music. You will notice a stage at the end and if you pay a visit on a Thursday from September to May then the intoxicating rhythm of live Irish folk will keep you from remaining seated. Choose from a variety of beers and if you fancy a real English style breakfast or English style fast food, Patrick's Irish Pub is the only place to go. For any major sport event you don't want to miss (football, rugby, cricket etc), two big screen TVs are there for your viewing pleasure. Bar Skeleton
Is a popular bar with tourists situated downstairs in the street just off the river side, also with a terrace on the river side. The best thing is that you get every cocktail at two for the price of one. We challenge you to find the toilet ;).
Krakovski vogal
This is a bar just off the tourist trail. It's a walk from the city centre along the river, past the traffic lights. They offer various tapas, olives and beer.

Read [K-M-SH], this is a club mainly for Maribor students, as well having a reputation as something of a meat market. This dancing club is generally thought of as being for local students only, so please take this into consideration.
Alternative night life
Metelkova town
Previously a prison, the area has been squatted and the town of Metelkova has it's own authentic atmosphere and maybe its own rules too. It is situated in the area adjacent to popular hostel Celica. The "town" is comprised of several stages that hosts concerts and DJ's. You can be sure to find a party every day, but its guaranteed on weekends. For info please visit: www.metelkova.org.
