The original concept for the Stara Mačka STEAK HOUSE is to provide patrons with a top quality, complete steak dinner at an affordable price, served in a warm, comfortable atmosphere with friendly service.

From the beginning, Stara Mačka STEAK HOUSE has built its reputation on providing a great steakhouse experience. Our Chefs take pride in serving only aged beef steaks that are carefully aged, fresh-cut daily, and grilled to order over an open flame. But don’t stop there! You can enjoy light meals, like various salads or sea food and then top them with tasty desserts. Relaxing ambient of calming atmosphere enriched by the best cocktails sipping or tasting the rich selection of Slovenian, French, Spanish and Italian wines… You can’t go wrong!

How to get there
Start at the notorious gathering point »Prešeren square«, over the »Tromostovje« bridge and then turn right and proceed along the river Ljubljanica river bank. Shortly you will see an old traditional building on your left hand side. There the »Stara Mačka« sing marks on the spot.
