Theater for Children and Youth

Although it is relatively young theatre (established in 2004), The Theater for Children and Youth is still the only professional theatre for children in Slovenia. It screens the best Slovenian and world evergreen stories and fairy-tales, mainly dedicated to children and youth. The theatre boasts some of the best Slovenian actors and producers, which turns in constant invitations of foreign theatres and winning numerous awards proving their good work. Although most of plays are performed in Slovenian language, the theater hosts foreign plays as well, mostly at biennale festive time. Besides for children, Theater for Children and Youth performs also for adults, mostly comedies are on the repertoire.

It houses one smaller and a big hall with almost 400 seats. At breaks use the house bar in case of thirst or hunger.

Depending on the show, prices range from 4 to 13 €. The cash desk of the theatre closes at the end of June and opens in September again. Tickets can be bought every working day from 17.00 to 19.00, on Saturdays from 16.00 to 17.00 or one hour before every show. You can buy them online as well (www.eventim.si).
