Please note that motorhomes should not be parked in regular car parking spaces or on ordinary street parking spots in Ljubljana, especially overnight.

No, you don’t need to buy one. You pay your parking fee at the Urbanomat parking machine by cash, credit card, Urbana card, or Valu Moneta via your phone.

• Can we park a bus at any of the Park & Ride lots in Ljubljana?

No. Most P+R locations are intended for passenger cars, motorcycles, and smaller vehicles. Tourist buses should use designated bus parking areas in Ljubljana, such as P+R Stožice, P+R Dolgi Most, Tivoli parking area, and the bus parking area on Bratislavska cesta. Short-term drop-off and pick-up points near the city centre are also available with prior reservation.

• Can I leave my car in the P+R car park for more days?

You can leave your car up to 7 consecutive days at Park and Ride stations in Ljubljana. Parking fee is €5 per day, and it doesn’t include bus tickets. 

If you stay longer, you need to repark your car to another Park and Ride station. 

• If we travel as a group, does everybody need their own Urbana card to pay for the city bus?

No. Multiple passengers can travel using the same Urbana card, as long as enough credit is loaded onto it. However, the included P+R bus rides are usually limited to the parking ticket conditions.
